FIX STIX 20-Minute Epoxy Septic Tank Pump Filters Fortune Valve Fortune Valve
The KL-1 is a self contained frost free effluent ejector. It ejects the effluent onto the ground where it is disposed of by evaporation and natural filtration. The KL-1 eliminates the need for a septic field and costs 25% less. Over 40,000 KL-1's are in use on Prairie Farms.

KL-1 Features

  1. 9 gallon per minute capacity

  2. All plastic parts manufactured from C.S.A. certified material

  3. Corosive and rust resistant

  4. Special designed venturi creates maximum capacity performance

  5. Parts removeable for ease of servicing and inspection

  6. Jet action aeretes effluent

  7. Jet action creates a freeze resistant system

An effluent pump - start and stop cycles controlled automatically - draws effluent from the final chamber of the septic tank - through a suction line in which a check valve is normally installed

The pump then pressurizes the effluent and after passing through a filter (and possibly an anti-syphon valve) forces the effluent through a discharge line to the nozzle/venturi assembly for aeration, then finally through to the discharge elbow of the ejector for disposal on the ground surface.

The discharge pipe of the ejector drains into the 4" standpipe after each pump cycle to provide a frost free system

An anti-syphon valve is required if the base of the ejector is installed lower than the fluid level in the septic tank. The discharge line is buried below frost level to prevent freezing
