We know what you’re thinking – that in an era of Internet and its all-knowing, all-powerful Wikipedia, research has become simple, if not fully unnecessary. But hear us out.

When we embark on a new product development plan – say, our new series of three valve boxes – we don’t simply go onto the web, look at what our competitors are doing and copy their ideas. Instead, we do our research the right way. We embark on a deep survey of industry stakeholders in Winnipeg and across Manitoba, talking to design engineers and contractors in cities and towns across our great province, listening to their plights and hearing their suggestions for how we can better improve our products and services.

Horizontal or Vertical Piping
The Ascent II Macerating Toilet accommodates both horizontal and vertical pipe connections using the easily adjustable QuickFlip™ discharge and vent connectors.  These connectors are PCV solvent wielt type with a 1” discharge and a 1-1/2” vent.

IST™ Intelligent Switch Technology
The Ascent II features solid state switch technology. These strategically placed sensors activate the pump and alarm eliminating the need for older style mechanical or diaphragm switches. The easily viewed LED panel displays power on, alarm condition, low battery as well as two quick touch options allowing override of the IST™ switch and to quickly silence the alarm.

Removable Service Panel
Quick easy access is available with the removable service panel located on the top cover. There are no tools required and no need to remove or adjust any plumbing attachments.

Cord Management
Recognizing the importance of appearance, unsightly cinched or tied power cables are a thing of the past. Hidden storage space under the lid accommodates the provide 8’ white power cord which can be routed to exit on either side of the system.

The new Ascent II macerating toilet system features the Industry’s only 1.28 GPF high efficiency toilet for a macerating system. The new system features advanced RazorCut^TM technology for improved maceration of waste and a removable service panel that provides quick access to the cutter area without disconnecting the plumbing.

To “macerate” is to soften and break into pieces. The Ascent II’s improved RazorCut^TM system uses stainless steel blades are replaceable with heavy-duty utility knife blades. One of the previous challenges with macerating toilets was clogging and jamming. The advance run technology of the Ascent II prevents this by assuring the macerator blades are running prior to debris entering the cutter basket. The integrated IST switch technology ensures for complete flush-out of debris in the macerating area further reducing the potential of clogs or jams.

The Ascent II Macerating Toilet System looks very much like a standard toilet requiring about the same amount of space. While a standard toilet will drain the flushed water into the drain in the floor, a macerating toilet carries it through a pump located behind the toilet. Once there, the system uses a macerating blade to liquefy the waste. The liquefied waste is then pumped through the discharge pipes.
