We will be attending the MWWA Annual Conference in Brandon on January 9 & 10th, 2012 at the Keystone Centre—Canad Inns.

Introducing In-floor Radiant Heating From GTGlobe Industries

B&A Manufacturing is proud to present a new line of in-floor radiant heating products from a company with over thirty years of experience with pipes and fittings. GTGlobe Industries, a leader in manufacturing high quality PEX and radiant PEX tubing and fittings, is joining the group. Here’s a little more about this product.

Why PEX piping? An alternative to copper and CPVC piping, PEX tubing is cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, offering higher resistance to hundreds of corrosive chemicals. Which means a longer life for your piping system.

Radiant heating beats typical forced air systems. Radiant floor heating offers significant energy savings over the traditional system and higher efficiency since hot air won’t accumulate near the ceiling.

Wide range of operating temperatures. From -40 degrees C all the way up to 93 degrees C, the in-floor radiant heating systems continue to operate efficiently and effectively.

Flexible and easy to install. Compared to traditional piping, PEX is significantly more flexible, allowing installers to run the tubing in a continuous “S” shape (up to 92m) without the need for pipe fittings.

B&A Announces New Drain Product Line from Wade Drains

Wade Drains, a company established in Chicago, Illinois almost 150 years ago, joins B&A Manufacturing as a specialty drain provider. A division of Tyler Pipe, Wade offers plumbing contractor friendly products that are designed for the specification drainage market. Here’s a little more information about their products.

Wade offers backwater valves, cleanouts, closet and fixture carriers, floor drains, floor sinks, hydrants, interceptors, roof drains, trap primers, trench drains, and water hammer arrestors. And they strive to provide exactly the right product for every job.

The modern specification drainage product can be traced back to the beginning of the twentieth century when architects and engineers began demanding drains with secondary drainage, protecting the structural integrity and aesthetics of buildings. Announcing New, Innovative Valve Box Design

We’re excited to announce a new product we are developing. It’s a new, innovative valve box that is made from polymer infused with iron. It’s non-corrosive, light, easy to handle and install. Polymer makes it one-third the weight of cast iron boxes reducing handling injury potential. It is interchangeable with cast iron bottoms thereby still magnetically locatable.

We’ve had involvement from all stakeholders from designers to contractors to engineers to ensure this product meets demand. We felt this was an important step in the process to ensure we included everyone’s input on the improvement opportunities of the product. We are dedicated to ongoing product development and outstanding customer service.
